Brigitte joined the Women’s Board in July 2023 as Director. She came to the University from the Lycée Franҫais de Chicago where she remains a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Development Committee. In this diverse, multi-cultural community, Brigitte has found success in raising the sights of fellow Board members in their philanthropic engagement with the school; in leading a group of volunteers to raise $10M+ over two years for a capital campaign; and in leading a volunteer-based program that achieved 90%+ annual fund participation from Lycée families.

Brigitte was also Managing Director of Compass Pro Bono, a national nonprofit that trains and places volunteers in pro bono consulting assignments in local nonprofits. At Compass Pro Bono she developed the case for support for the organization and led Chicago-based major gift strategy and implementation. Earlier in her career Brigitte worked in business development at KPMG, and in marketing and strategy planning at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Brigitte holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She speaks multiple languages and in her free time, she loves to cook, eat, and travel.

Brigitte is excited to lead the Women’s Board program at UChicago to enhance and strengthen the impact of this important group of volunteers on the University’s philanthropic, engagement and community-building goals.

At the University of Chicago for more than a decade, Dorothy has held progressively higher-level roles in advancement services. Prior to her work at the University, she worked in professional communications with internal staff as well as external contacts. A people person at heart, Dorothy is a great asset to the Women’s Board, assisting Women’s Board members attentively with their needs and frequently going above and beyond her duties. To further her career, she recently completed her bachelor of science degree in communications from the University of Phoenix in March 2016. In her spare time, Dorothy is an avid bowler and loves reading thrillers—the more mystery involved, the better.
